I am a fulltime Library Media Specialist at the High School level. I started my career at 35 years old after staying home raising children and being an undergrad student who completed a double major in Library Media and Health Education. I also earned my Master Degree in education in Curriculum Design with a focus on Technology. I have been a Media Specialist for 26 years and I am very passionate about my career and the role that a Media Specialist has in teaching and Learning.
My husband “Bob” and I moved to Grand Rapids, Ohio (actually Providence Township) which has 2 homes and approximately 20 acres. One home is the one we live in and the other is a farmhouse that was built in 1872 that we will be hopefully restoring into a bed and breakfast in the future.
I have 3 grown children and 4 beautiful grandchildren! I also have 2 cats and 2 hens and a rooster.
I enjoy gardening, reading, computers, fixer-uppers, photography, being outdoors and Volunteer Patrolling for our Metro Parks especially Providence!
